For 22 years, The National Institute, the youth ministry program of Grace College that is overseen by CE National, produces the chapels for the school during Youth Emphasis Week while stressing the importance of ministering to the next generation.
This year TNI students were involved in reading scripture, sharing the values of the program, and introducing the guest speakers. On Thursday, Steve Kozak, the new vice president of youth ministries at CE National, was introduced and then talked about sharing the truth of Jesus in a post-truth culture.
On Friday morning, Brad Deetscreek, lead pastor of family ministries at Grace Church in Akron, Ohio, and a CE National board member, shared on the joy that comes in ministry when one embraces an Ephesians 2:5 mentality of how we are alive in Christ.
Ministry opportunities were shared including ministry trips to Urban Hope Training Centers in Los Angeles (March) and Philadelphia (May) for students.
