Ideas from Ed Lewis for sharing your faith.

  1. Represent a positive Christian example on social media.
  2. Conduct a voluntary Bible study or prayer group on campus.
  3. Wear a Christian t-shirt.
  4. Organize a “See You at the Pole” prayer day in September.
  5. Write an article for the school newspaper.
  6. Put an advertisement in the high school yearbook or newspaper.
  7. Send a note of congratulations to students winning awards throughout the school year. Enclose a Christian thought in the letter.
  8. Invite your youth leader to eat lunch with you and your unsaved friends (Get permissions for your leader to be on campus.)
  9. Give a report on a Christian book or person for English class.
  10. Circulate a good, Christian book among your friends.
  11. Talk to the administration about an elective class on the “Bible as literature: or a Bible Release program.
  12. Perform a Christian song or skit for a talent show.
  13. Visit kids from school who are sick in the hospital.
  14. Go to a viewing/funeral to show care to a friend who lost a relative or friend.
  15. Set a goal to witness to one student each day.
  16. Counsel fellow students going through a rough time.
  17. Carry an actual Bible on campus and open it to read.
  18. Be a servant.
  19. Pray over your meal.
  20. Invite unsaved friends to your church youth group.
  21. Ask your teacher if your youth pastor can speak in class.
  22. Ask the coach if you can lead the team in prayer before a game.
  23. Conduct a survey of your classmates’ religious beliefs.
  24. Tell teachers and principals you are praying for them.
  25. Talk to student council about student problems (and solutions).
  26. Be an example!
  27. Invite friends to your house after a game.
  28. Learn how to be a real friend:
    • Friends are caring.
    • They are good listeners.
    • They are always there when you need them.
    • They are loving.
    • They are interested in the things that you are interested in.
    • They are loyal.
    • They never put you down behind your back.
    • They are supportive.
    • They are fun.
    • They are comfortable to be around and are comfortable with silence. (You don’t always have to be talking.)
    • Out of sight is not out of mind.
    • Text encouraging comments.
