Several groups visited the Urban Hope Training Center in Philadelphia recently. Here are just a few of the testimonies.
- I did not want to go on this trip at first. I was very scared and only went on it to please my parents. But, long story short, God changed me. I now know how to talk to other people about him and bring them closer to him also. This was one of the best weeks of my life, and I will never forget it. I will forever keep these memories and experiences in my heart and use them for God.
- Some of my friends don’t talk about what they believe in so I will share the gospel and F. I. S. H. with them.
- I plan to talk to more people, to pray more, to share the gospel, and not be ashamed.God changed my life by showing me that all people are worthy of Jesus’ love and that outside appearances don’t reveal the entire truth. It humbled me to a point I didn’t think could happen.
- I want to be able to go home and be able continue to minister to kids and my peers. I want to make a difference.God showed me that I need to get out of my comfort zone. I was exposed to all sorts of drugs homelessness, and poverty. I was able to see that these people aren’t there by choice. Something was wrong, they were lost. God let me see that even I can help them be found in God.
