Urban Hope Philadelphia loved having the young people from North Park Community Church

North Park Community Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Grace Church – Bath Campus, Akron, Ohio; and Manheim Brethren In Christ Church, Manheim, Pennsylvania, recently visited Urban Hope Philadelphia. The groups got to experience inner-city ministry first-hand.

Here are some testimonies from the participants:

  • “I want
to keep serving. This has been such an eye opening experience.”
  • “I plan to pray for people I met here and pray for Urban Hope and all the kids to come to church and to know God more.”
  • “God has overwhelmed me with compassion for the lost. He has given me a desire to share his love with them and the courage to do so.”
  • “God has really given me a tender heart for people who are lost and in need of hope. God has been teaching me to be bold.”
  • “I’ve always had the heart for people and been quick to forgive but God has really just softened my heart and made me more bold to talk and interact with students.”
  • “I do feel a lot more confident. I also am able to open more to others I talk to.”
