Kingsway Christian School from Orville, Ohio, visited Urban Hope from May 11-17. The group, made up of 12 high school juniors, did homeless outreach and engaged people on 30th Street, Reading Market, and Chinatown in order to share the gospel with them. The group also did prayer walks, went to Sunday breakfast, and even visited ROCK ministries, Urban Hope’s outreach to students.
“My time here really stretched me out of my comfort zone. I had to intentionally be friendly, even when I was tired. I learned how to really talk and listen to people.”
“Even though I came into the week with a shy mentality, I came out with a mentality that wants to show everyone God’s love.”
