It can be scary to do something new, out of your comfort zone, and walk into an unfamiliar situation. This fear is one reason why some students don’t apply for Operation Barnabas.
Check out this story from one of our recent Operation Barnabas team members:
“Coming into Operation Barnabas, I didn’t know what to expect. I was excited but VERY nervous as to what the next three weeks had in store for me. I didn’t know anyone going on OB and had never been away from home for that long before. I had no idea that my entire outlook on life, God, and especially ministry was about to be radically changed.
I soon found myself in an environment of love, encouragement, and spiritual growth. I would encourage every high school student to consider serving on Operation Barnabas at least once!”
While our OB rosters are filling up, we do have open spots on our Mideast team, June 13–July 6, starting in Lititz, Pennsylvania, and then traveling to Urban Hope Philly and the greater Washington DC area. This team will get to visit a number of churches and para-church organizations, as well as some well-known tourist attractions. Applying online is easy and can be done here.

Who do you know that you can encourage to take a leap of faith and “jump in” to what could be the best summer ever?
