Looking for a way to serve others with a purpose, to be a part of something bigger than yourself, and have a great time doing it? This is the concept behind City Life, CE National’s eight-day ministry opportunity for high school students!
This summer, City Life is ministering coast-to-coast as we partner with CE National’s two Urban Hope locations.
City Life East, June 1-8, will be located at Urban Hope Philadelphia. The administrative leaders for the East team are Dave & Carly Nicodemus. Dave serves as student pastor at Grace Polaris in Columbus, Ohio. Helping with children’s ministries, serving the homeless, ministering on South Street, and exploring the city while eating a classic Philly Cheese-steak are just some of the activities this team will do! Students can either travel with the group to and from Columbus or meet the group at UHTC in Philadelphia.
City Life West takes place at Urban Hope Los Angeles, June 11-18. This team’s administrative leader is Margaret Olmedo, LA public school teacher and CE National board member. This team will do things such as serve at homeless shelters and rescue missions, help at a food pantry, visit other ministry sites, and go to the beach for the true Southern California experience! Students will be picked up at the Los Angeles International Airport and returned there after tour, or can meet us directly at UHTC in Norwalk.
City Life is for students who have just completed 8th grade through high school seniors. The support total is $610 for either team. Now is the time to apply, with teams being decided the first week of April. Visit citylifetour.org to find out more and apply.
