Heroes Who Live On--Volume 1

Volume 1

Twelve character-building stories of Grace Brethren people who have made a difference. Upper-elementary reading level.

They came from many different walks of life and many parts of the U.S.

But they have two things in common. They loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ with uncommon devotion and effect, and they all were affiliated with the group we now know as the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches.

The stories of these men and women, our spiritual ancestors, continue chronicling the legacy begun with Heroes Who Live On, Volume 1.

Though written for a younger audience, these stories are excellent material for a "missions moment" in a worship service, for use in Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship classes and even for personal or family devotional times.

Read and be challenged. Ponder and discuss the questions that follow the story of each personality. Rejoice in how God has used these choice servants and pray that many more spiritual leaders will arise from the challenge and inspiration of their lives.

Volume 1 contains stories of Alexander Mack, Florence Gribble, James Gribble, Estella Myers, Alva J. McClain, Russell Humberd, Homer Kent, Sr., Russell Barnard, Leo Polman, Harold and Ada Etling, Herman Hoyt, and Clyde Landrum.
