The Atlantic Team: A day of tears and rejoicing! July 15, 2007

This morning was one of the most amazing mornings yet this summer. Fountain of Life had a baptism this morning of a boy whom we have been hanging out with all week. AWESOME! Cari shared her children's story and Trenton got deep with his sermon. We all were challenged to give God our all in everything we do. Also, we were challenged to give our whole selves to God.

Pastor Vic gave a challenge to the whole congregation after a pantomime and right before the conclusion of the service. As a team we were praying that God would use us in mighty ways. This morning we saw 2 people come down to receive Christ. One, was a teenager we had been loving on all week, and another was a lady from the congregation! PRAISE JESUS! We ended the morning crying for joy! How awesome it is to be used by God.

We spent time praying for people of the church and spent a long time on the bus traveling to Marietta Georgia.

We arrived and we had a nice pot luck dinner, south style.... =) YUMMY!

Later we did a program. Nate shared his sermon and challenged people to get real with God and not be afraid to ask others for help and accountability.

After the program, when OBers were mingling.... Ben and Michael had a chance to talk to a couple of guys. One of the guys brought a friend of his, and the friend, accepted Christ!!!! WOW! Again, it is awesome to be used by God!
