RAIN KEEPS FALLING ON MY HEAD!
June 29
We woke up to dreary skies and rain... One of those days that when you are home, you would have just stayed in your pajamas! We instead had a great time of worship with song and prayer. We then dove into the Word, and learned about confrontation from Matthew 18. Amy K. led us through the steps of confronting, and how to apply it to our lives at home, and on ob.
We got the chance to play some team building games and watch a Moody 100 video. The kids were challenged by Bruce Wilkenson to develop more of a heart for God.
Since it was raining, some of our manual labor plans were changed. We instead had a chance to go the mall and hang out with the main purpose of talking to people. Satan really put up some big road blocks.... We had to trust that God was still in control and still had a plan for our day. Some of the kids were really frustrated because some of their conversations were cut short... but they walked out of the mall with a healthy burden for those who they didn't get to have conversations with or finish conversations.
The rest of the day was spent outdoors doing some small manual labor projects for the church, when the rain stopped... and then we had the opportunity to visit the park where we will be having a park program on Saturday. This is supposed to be a huge event, and the park is huge and beautiful, right in downtown Hagerstown. We are looking forward anxiously to what God has in store.
Please PRAY for us Saturday afternoon. We are praying specifically for lost souls to be drawn to the Lord and for the program logistics to go smoothly (sound, puppets, weather, etc)
Thank you again for your support...

We are having some problems with getting email access. I am sorry that it has not been possible to post pictures recently. We are working on it, and someday soon, you will hopefully see a whole bunch of pictures from the past couple days. God bless.

BLESSED BY SUDS...
A family from one of the GBC's graciously gave our team free laundry on our way down to Hagerstown, MD. Doy and Joy left such an impression on us by their willing hearts to give from what they have.
When all the suds were gone, and we loaded up the bus again, we ran a few more errands and headed to the church to get briefed. From there we headed out to the neighborhood around the church and passed out flyers for the upcoming park programs.
We prayed all day for the weather to hold off for our program that night... and it did!!! It was so awesome to see God answer our small prayers. The rain held off until the last song was literally over. WOW! We were rushed to get our equipment out of the rain!
The rest of the evening we spent in team time and teaching. Tim challenged us in the area of forgiveness. Many of our students were stretched to look into their hearts.
May God's peace be with you. Please keep us in your prayers.
