Bathed
But the concept of “bathing” that runs through my mind today is of a completely different thought process. In the last week, I have received word that as we had seven adult leaders drive two school buses from Indiana to CA, we have been bathed in prayer—maybe more than at any time in the 35 year history of Operation Barnabas.
So now I am starting another prayer campaign and I am asking for your help: we have three teams traveling from CA to Ohio the rest of this summer and we need all of the things to happen just like they did on the trip out.
Will you please join me and commit to praying for these teams, leaders, and their experiences? Post a comment, e-mail me, text me. Let me know you are praying and I will pass it on.
Many thanks! Next time I make a request for OB travel—it might be for a donation so that we can afford the diesel fuel to get to Ohio… ;-)

I am the mother of one of the teens.
She left today for the flight to California. We all commit to prayer daily for her and ALL of you. Today was the hardest day for me as her mom since she was born to let her go and to trust that she will be alright without my protection and that God has her back and that HE is her protector!
God Bless all of you as you begin this journey for the next 7 weeks!

Our family is praying for the team everyday and sending up prayers each and every time we think of all of you. We are excited for what the Lord has in store for all the team but we are also excited for what the Lord has in store for us at home as we support all of you and learn to let go of our child and truly place him in the Lord's hands.

I'm praying!! My little sister is one of those teens and I personally know many of the others. I am praying for their spiritual growth, for strength and wisdom for the leaders and, for safety, for good health, and for the Lord to shine through all they do! I commit to praying daily for everyone involved in this amazing journey!

My husband and I have committed to praying for all of you daily. We know the Holy Spirit will be leading in every ministry opportunity so we will also be praying for obedience on everyone's part. Our grandson is on OB this year so it is even more exciting for us this year! The Lord bless all of you and keep you in His care.

We are praying for you and will continue to pray for all the OB teams. Thank you so much for your commitment to the Lord and to our kids. What a blessing to read and see pictures each day of the kids. I kow this is God's way of keeping that peace in our hearts he gave us when we made the decision to release our son to you for 7 weeks. Many in our family and church are praying.
