An Anniversary
Well, from what I have gathered, today is an anniversary. I usually think of that word and associate it with a positive thing. But not this one.
I have been told that Roe v Wade was decided on this date back in the early 70's. What a tragic decision that has impacted so many--babies, certainly, but also women, men, and society at large. It is a dark day in the course of American history.
Not a long blog today. But just one final thought: as an adopted kid, born in 1962, I sure am glad that I am not twelve or so years younger. I'm glad to be alive. But there are millions after Roe v Wade that can't say the same thing today. In fact, they can't say anything at all.
