Pray For Urban Hope
Summer Prayer Goals:
Many things are happening this summer at Urban Hope and we want you to know how to pray for what lies ahead! Below is a list of things you can be in prayer for as the summer months are upon us:
- Pray for our summer intern, Atanya Photikam, who was a student on the 4:12 Commission this past school year. She will be starting her internship June 15th. Pray for her preparation for the summer and that God would prepare the hearts of the families that she will be working with this summer here in our community.
- Pray for the all three of the Operation Barnabas teams that we will be hosting at separate times during the week of June 17-23. They will have many opportunities to be out in several communities around the city. Pray that God would use their time here to help the churches in Philadelphia connect with those who need to know Christ.
- Pray for our three weeks of Sports and Arts Day Camp taking place June 24-30, July 8-15, and July 29-August 4. Many outside church groups will be here to help run the camps during those weeks. We are seeking to work with 250-300 kids in these camps–pray for their hearts to be open to follow Christ.
- Pray for Brent Saba, who will be joining us in August as the Director of the Training Center. He is continuing to raise his financial support and is still in need of approximately $27,000 per year. - Pray for good relational connections between members of our church body and people in our community throughout the summer months. The city comes alive during these months and it is an incredible time to build relationships with residents. Pray that our church body would love and serve our community as we challenge people here to follow Christ.
