Helping Urban Hope Help Others
The Grace Community Church work crew is making good progress on the Urban Hope Training Center bathroom renovations. By noon Friday, the bathrooms should be completed.
Art Bushen, CE National Maintenance and Grounds Manager, is with the team. Art says that the Goshen team is "great to work with. They are very competent and skilled in their jobs." Art also commented on how good the Urban Hope staff has been to them.
It hasn't been all work for the eight men and women from Goshen, Indiana. Tuesday night the group visited the Art Museum and ran up the steps Rocky style. Last night Jason and Christy Holt took the group out to a Brazilian restaraunt where the cost of the meal was calculated by the weight of the food on their plates.
Along with the bathroom project, the team has been making arrangements for a new heating and air conditioning system which Urban Hope desperately needs. The Goshen group hopes to return later this year to install the HVAC system.
