Register Now For Momentum Youth Conferences

Registration for Momentum youth conferences is now open. Go to www.BuildMomentum.org and register for either Momentum East or Momentum West.

Momentum West is scheduled for Monday, June 23 - Saturday, June 28 at Biola University in La Mirada, California.

Momentum East will take place Monday, July 21-Sunday, July 27 at Cedarville University in southwestern Ohio.

CE National Corporation Luncheon

 The CE National Corporation Luncheon will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2008, from 12:30-2:30 pm. The gathering will be during National Adult Conference at the Innisbrook Golf Resort in Tampa, Fla.

At the CE National Corporation meeting there will be updates and reports on Operation Barnabas tours including Operation Barnabas International, Momentum Youth Conference, Urban Hope, and many other exciting events happening through the ministries of CE National. There will also be a short business meeting where names will be put up for nomination to the CE National Board of Directors.

NexGen Comes to Warsaw, Ind.

NexGen is coming to Warsaw, Ind., March 15. Last spring, Grace Community Church in Goshen hosted this one-day conference. This year, Jon Rauch, Children's Pastor at Grace Community Church, will bring the conference to Warsaw Community Church.

NexGen is a one-day conference that aims to equip Christians to effectively engage the next generation with the Gospel. Two mini-conferences are held. One track is specifically for children in 2nd-6th grades. Another track is for parents and children's ministry volunteers. Read more...

Hmmm... R.A.O.K. Your World

Community Grace Brethren Church in Warsaw, Ind., has started a campaign to show their community that Jesus loves them. "Random Acts of Kindness" (R.A.O.K.) cards were handed out the end of January. The congregation was encouraged to do something special for a stranger and give them one of the cards. Along with the cards were these ideas.

Help pull cars out of the snow
Park at the far end of a parking lot so others can use the close spots
Help someone into the building in bad weather
Pump fuel for someone so they stay in their warm car
Purchase stamps and give to someone for cards
Sweep sidewalks
Pay for meal at restaurant/fast food place
Wash someone’s car at the carwash
Plow a driveway
Pay for gas at the pump
Make dinner for a family
Deliver “dinner in a basket” to a family
Carry groceries for someone
Take coffee and donuts to a business
Check and fill oil for somebody’s car
Have pizza delivered to a family (paid by you)
Leave a roll of quarters at the Laundromat
Leave a large tip for a waiter or waitress
Pay for a stranger’s dry cleaning
Pay a bill for a stranger

The 412 Commission In Israel

Please continue to pray for the 412 Commission students as they travel throughout Israel, returning to the States March 5.

Led by Dr. Randy Smith, the students are having an extensive introduction to places where Jesus ministered as well as other significant sites of biblical times.

Dr. Smith is the Senior Pastor of Grace Church of Sebring, Fla., and has years of rich experience in the Holy Land. He and his wife, Dotty, lived in Israel for over 10 years.
