CE National Board Meets in Washington D.C.

CE National Board
The CE National Board of Directors

Washington DC was the location for the spring CE National Board of Directors meetings. The group discussed future goals and plans for the ministries of CE National.

The meetings were both encouraging and challenging. God has been blessing CE National and it was encouraging to hear reports from the three staff directors, Ed Lewis, Jesse DeBoest, and Timothy Kurtaneck. But the meetings also included a special report from the Urban Hope Training Center. Jason Holt and two young men from the ministry were able to give a report from the meetings held at Tyson's Corner, Va. Read more and see pictures...

Momentum Banner

Along with the regular students programming at Momentum East, two other tracks are offered.

Generations is for adults attending Momentum. At Generations you'll be challenged each day by speakers at special Generations luncheons, and you'll gather together each evening for a time of fellowship and training along with other adults. You'll also be part of all the main sessions, watch Bible Quizzing and NAC, go on a work project, and see kids "get it."

Fusion is for those out of high school one year through age 24. Along with the fun and excitement of main sessions, Fusion offers seminars and activities geared toward young adults, including late-night events, discussions and forums, and group worship.

Sunday Night Service Returns to Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church

Terry White and a number of leaders in the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church have begun twice-a-month Sunday evening services. These informal times are geared to people who like an opportunity to sing hymns, have informal testimonies, learn of ministries, and enjoy the "Old-Time Sunday Evening Atmosphere". Many people do enjoy the more contemporary worship of Sunday mornings, but this gives an opportunity to also enjoy the music of our heritage.

This Sunday night, Ed Lewis, will be speaking, sharing the ministries of CE National, and playing the piano for the group.

Meet the Operation Barnabas Leaders

Elle Levi, Matt Rupple, and Erica Todd are three of the 14 leaders ministering on Operation Barnabas this summer. Read more about them and the other leaders at www.operationbarnabas.net.

Elli Levi

Elle Levi is a junior at Moody Bible Institute, majoring in Biblical Studies. She was a student on OB in 2003 where she was compelled to commit to full-time ministry. "That summer the Lord grew and stretched me in incredible ways", says Elle. "I can only hope to give back this summer, and I consider it an honor to be a part of this team."

Matt Rupple
Matt Rupple grew up in Defiance, Ohio. He is a junior at Grace College, studying Business, Youth Ministry, and Science. This is Matt's second summer as an OB leader and he's very excited to work with and invest his life with teens.
Erica Todd
Erica Todd is originally from Dayton, Ohio, and a recent graduate of Grace College with a B.S. in Communication. Erica was also a student in The National Institute (the youth ministry program) while at Grace. Erica went on OB as a student in 2004 and this is her second year leading. Erica looks forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for the summer.
