Look What God is Doing At Urban Hope |

Warren Zellner, Winona Lake, Ind., spent a week at Urban Hope, finishing up projects left from the heating renovation. |
Heat!!!
Urban Hope is praising God for the ability to use the church and training center building again now that the new heating system is complete. A special "Thank You" goes out to the many people who have donated time and money to help with this project.
Kingdom Kids Begins
With the completion of the heating system, Kingdom Kids has begun again. Last week the kids had a pajama day and learned about building their lives on Jesus.
Smackdown Outreach Weekend
A group from Hope Community Church in Cary, N.C., joined Urban Hope in February for the annual Smackdown weekend. The teens spent Friday and Saturday playing crazy games, running all over Philly during the Amazin' Race, and eating all kinds of disgusting foods during Fear Factor. It's an awesome time for teens to invite their friends to see that being a Christian is crazy fun and for the groups coming in to get to know the teens here.

Two Momentums--Two Different Purposes |

As summer looms, plans for Momentum 2008 continue to come together. CE National is excited to offer two conferences this year, one on the west coast at Biola University in California, June 23-28, and one in the east at Cedarville University in Ohio, July 21-27. The two locations will help local youth groups minimize the rising cost of attending Momentum by keeping travel costs lower, but anyone from any state can attend either or both conferences.
Momentum West at Biola University will be unique, combining the highlights of youth conference–the speakers, worship, and training–with 3 days of missions opportunities. Read more... |

Fish Tales--Tell Your Story |
Have a story to tell about your evangelism experiences? Go to Jim Brown's Fish Tales website and share it.
Jim created this blog for people to tell stories about sharing their faith, "moving the numbers" to get people closer to Christ. Jim says that most people need seven gospel touches before they become believers, so when we share our faith it moves people one number closer to actually accepting Christ. Go to www.igo08.blogspot.com to share your story.
Jim is Senior Pastor of Grace Community Church, Goshen, Ind., and a CE National Board member. |

Quizzing Helps To Hide God's Word |
CE National is committed to encouraging Christians to memorize the Word. Bible Quizzing is a great program to encourage students to do just that with the incentive of some friendly competition.
The 2007-2008 Bible Quizzing Finals will be held at Momentum East youth conference in Cedarville, Ohio, July 21-27, 2008. Throughout the year, church teams compete at district quizzing rallies to determine the team they will send to the national competition. Students are competing on the books of John and Revelation this year.
The second annual Bible Quizzing Invitational (BQI) will be held the weekend of November 21-23 at CE National in Winona Lake, Ind. BQI, which is open to teams from any church, will include play-offs, challenges, and seminars for students and is a great way to encourage students to study and memorize the Bible during the year.
For the 2008-2009 season, students will be quizzing on John 13-21 and Acts 1-11. |
