Momentum West--Learning, Then Doing |

Rocking Babies at WowJam
|
“This has changed my life. I have a new look on the world and my heart breaks for the needy and the lost. I now want to be a missionary or work in the missions area.”
“It has tremendously affected me to share my faith with those who are lost.”
“… my friend who I brought became a Christian finally!!! I’ve been trying to get her to accept Christ for about a year now, so I am very grateful for your help!”
These are just a few of the many comments received from Momentum West 2008.
The theme of the conference was iCARE taken from Micah 6:8. Students experienced two days of solid teaching and great worship. Todd Proctor and his band led worship. Todd is Lead Pastor of Rock Harbor Church and is one of the best worship leaders in the country. Read more and see pictures... |
Serving God on a TNI Internship |
Alex Seney is part of The National Institute (TNI)--the youth ministry major at Grace College that CE National oversees.
Alex is doing a ministry internship this summer with Student Venture and he recently sent this email back to CE National.
I just wanted to thank you so much for the support in getting me to "Getaway" with Student Venture this summer. The conference was phenomenal! The guys that I worked with made some amazing decisions, one coming to Christ and then all of us really opening up to each other and becoming brothers. God moved in huge ways! I am so thankful to be a part of these guys' lives.

50 Years of Bible Quizzing |
We thank God for 50 years of Bible Quizzing and trust God will continue to allow the ministry to grow.
When we think of Bible Quizzing through the years, we cannot help but remember names like Floyd and Anne Waggoner, Durwood and Claudine Brooks, Ray and Sharon Feather, Dale and Annette Knepper Sr., Howard and Nancy Mayes, Rick Stiffler, Barry Luke, Doug Courter, and so many more...
CE National has instituted a mid-year Bible Quiz Invitational to encourage quizzing. Scott Feather works as the national Quiz Master each year. Ray and Sharon Feather have recently won the Wall of Honor award for their many years of faithful ministry in encouraging scripture memorization. This year the quiz cycle includes study of John 1-12 and Revelation 1-6. Next year quizzing will be over John 13-21 and Acts 1-11.
To promote quizzing at Momentum, there will be a quiz demonstration during one of the main sessions. There will also be a new Bible Quizzing brochure distributed at Momentum East. If you would like brochures mailed to you, contact CE National at cenational@cenational.org.
