A Harvest of Healing

Portis Kansas

Portis, Kansas, a town surrounded by wheat fields in the north central part of the state, knows what harvest time means. And when the Mid-West Operation Barnabas team, a ministry sponsored by CE National, rolled its big blue bus into town, harvest was in full swing – in more ways than one. Read more...

'God used Operation Barnabas to change my life...'

Operation Barnabas

God used Operation Barnabas to change my life and I thank God for this program and that I had a chance to be involved in it! I also thank God for CE National. For all of you who are involved with CE are truly servants of Him. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into making my personal experience on OB a great one!

Sale of Super Bowl Ring to Help Needy Children

Je'Rod Cherry at Momentum
Je’Rod Cherry and
his wife at Momentum

For human reasons, Je’Rod Cherry probably shouldn’t want to part with his Super Bowl ring. It’s an honor to own one, it represents the struggle of his team to achieve a spot in football history, and it also signifies a personal career high.

But he’s decided to put it up for raffle to benefit needy children around the world.

Read the rest of the article on the BMH Editor's Blog.

Proceeds from the sale of the ring will cover costs for continuing the orphanages in Cambodia and Thailand that are being built as a result of offerings at Momentum 2008. Remember Asia’s Hope as they start the two orphanages in September. Pray for the 20 children who will be chosen for each location and pray for those who are parents/teachers/spiritual mentors for each site.

Quizzing at Momentum
Quizzing at Momentum

Quizzing is a wonderful program for students in your church to commit large portions of scripture to memory and have fun doing it. Go to the CE National Bible Quizzing Page to find everything you need to start a Bible Quiz program.

CE National has books available that contain verses from John 13-21 and Acts 1-11. Contact Peggy at resources@cenational.org or call 574.267.6622.

Do You Have Extra Quiz Seats?

The Grace Brethren Church in Norwalk, Calif., would like to borrow quiz seats. They have seven youth from their church who are joining others from the district in quizzing and are excited to bring a Southern California team to Momentum East next year.

"We do not have quiz lights and are in the process of saving money to buy some", says Pastor Jeff. In the meantime, they are willing to pay shipping if a church would be willing to loan seats to them. If you can help, contact Jeff at jefflisapatton@yahoo.com.
