College-Age Ministry Leaders Gather at CE National |

CE National is bringing together leaders in college-age ministry. These leaders will meet at CE National's Russell Center on October 29. A major focus of the day will be discussing reasons why this generation is leaving the Church with no desire to return. The group will also talk about ways to help churches keep and reach this age group.
Chuck Bomar, from Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, California, will be the guest speaker. Francis Chan, Momentum speaker, is Senior Pastor of Cornerstone.

TNI Student Shines |
The National Institute encourages students to do internships for Christian organizations. Karri is a TNI student involved with Teens for Christ.
"I am so grateful for Karri, a National Institute youth ministry intern that I have working with our ministry this year. She has been teaching, evangelizing, and doing discipleship in a local chapter. She has made it a priority to meet with some of the girls and she has put together some very detailed curriculum to go over with them.
"At the office she has helped do a bulletin board, put together a newsletter, helped with mailings, worked on our fundraiser banquet, and made lots of phone calls. I have been taking her through a couple of classes and she is meeting with my wife for one-on-one mentoring. She has been awesome at her work here with Teens for Christ, and it is a good reflection of how well the youth ministry program is doing at preparing students for ministry."
In His Service,
Paul Paschal

Special Meeting for Momentum |
CE National has arranged a special meeting this Friday in Indianapolis to seek the counsel of youth pastors from across the country. The group will focus on the June Momentum youth conference taking place in Southern California. CE National would like to see a significant difference in the lives of young people and churches that attend this conference, and the input from these youth pastors will be invaluable.
The meeting will center on discussions about how to allow the conference in California to be hands-on, much like Momentum 2007 in Mississippi.
CE National is also excited about the July Momentum conference in Cedarville, Ohio. Convoy of Hope will again partner with CE National to provide a hands-on ministry experience for students.
