Momentum Gains New Speaker

Josh Finkley
Josh Finklea

CE National is excited to introduce Josh Finklea as a new addition to this summer’s Momentum speaker line-up. Josh is the founder of Staroutreach, a ministry he began because he saw the need to minister to the ‘unwanteds’ of the world and to train others to do the same. The unwanteds are those that society has given up on: homeless, poor, and sinful. Josh’s biggest joy in ministry is shaking hands with the homeless, talking to prostitutes, laughing with those who are lost, and playing with those who are poor. He spends many nights walking streets and hanging out in bars looking for open doors for ministry.

His latest book, Get Dirty, is a compilation of evangelistic encounters he has had with the unwanteds of the world.

Hmmm... What Young Leaders Want--by Bob Hetzler

I came across an article written by Gary McIntosh of Biola University about what young adults want in leadership. I thought this was very insightful and thought provoking for those who work with young leaders whether in a church, school, or Christian organization. Here is what Dr. McIntosh wrote: Read more...

Encouraging Words About Day Away

Just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed the North of 55, Day Away at New Holland and Shady Maple. It was the best ever. We didn't miss the seminars. We didn't miss a "heavy" message! We enjoyed the light-hearted tone to the day.

We love Shady Maple and to eat there and have the afternoon program there was great. A couple of our women would not go to the Day Away because "it's boring"- well I let them know they made a mistake this year!!
