Pray For Youth Emphasis Week at Grace College |

|
As a part of Youth Emphasis Week, hosted by The National Institute, Grace College students are being challenged by three chapel speakers including Scott Distler, Senior Pastor of Grace Church in Lititz, Pennsylvania, Pastor Scott Greene from Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw, Indiana and Josh Finklea pastor/speaker from Illinois. Sound Investment, the music ministry team from Grace College, is leading worship all week in chapels as well. There will be testimonies from students in the Youth Ministry program, including Brent Saba.
Another unique aspect of the week that TNI is excited about is Pastor Scott Greene will be giving training seminars on Wednesday evening for our Youth Ministry majors and minors, to better equip them for ministry. Be sure to look for our full report next week of what happened during YEW 2007!!
If you are interested in receiving training in youth ministry, contact Timothy Kurtaneck or Courtney Cherest at TheInstitute@cenational.org or call 574.267.6622. |
Lititz Church Baptizes 104 On Sunday Morning |

|
Grace Church at Lititz, Pennsylvania, two weeks ago, had a tremendous worship experience on Sunday morning. They baptized 52 people in each of the two Sunday morning services. The entire service, after the music, was dedicated to the baptisms and hearing testimonies of the people whose lives are being changed. Most of the baptisms were the result of conversion decisions.
|
Scott Distler, Senior Pastor of the church, indicates that God has been blessing the ministry over the last two years and they had so many people to baptise that they purchased an inflatable pool and put it on the stage next to the baptistry. Both Andy Brightbill, Associate Pastor, and Scott Distler took turns baptising the people on Sunday morning. Scott Distler is one the speakers during The National Institute's Youth Emphasis Week that CE National hosts at Grace College. |

Year 2010 Goals For CE National |
In serving the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, CE National wants to partner with local churches in reaching their communities for Christ as well as going beyond the normal comfort zones.

Visualize: as you walk into your church, every member can identify someone whom he is attempting to reach for Christ.

Visualize: as you enter a Grace Brethren Church, you can be assured that this church has a growth strategy for outreach, biblical training, and leadership development and that each member is moving through some aspect of that strategy.

Visualize: every church in the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches has identified present and future church leaders and pastors and is in a process of nurturing those people into ministry.

Project Managers Needed For Momentum Work Teams |
 |
This summer, over 2500 students and youth workers will be mobilized during Momentum (July 19-27) to work in Gulfport, Mississippi. The work teams will be providing labor for dry-walling and painting projects. But, they don’t know how!
Momentum is seeking a crew of 35-50 adults to serve as on-site
project managers. These individuals could be skilled laborers from your church or community who will volunteer their assistance during the week of Momentum. Retirees have proved to be excellent project managers—adding their knowledge and expertise to the energy and enthusiasm of the students.
Each project manager would oversee a work group of 10-15 students and at least one adult each day.
For more details, go to www.buildmomentum.org. If you are interested in serving as a project manager, please contact us at momentum@cenational.org or 574.267.6622. |
