The 412 Commission Experiences Israel |

Randy Smith
Teaches
in Israel |
Dr. Randy Smith just completed serving as a tour guide for the 412 Commission students as well as others who joined them for 2 weeks in the Bible Lands. The group heard daily teaching relating to Old and New Testament geography. It was very moving to see the land where Jesus walked.
The 412 group, under the direction of Ryan and Lori Rodeman, experienced a unique time that was beyond what they are learning in the classroom. The worship times were also meaningful as was the reality of seeing the Bible come alive. See pictures...
Mike Workman and Amy Myer write of their experience.
|
Each year those in the 412 program have the opportunity to go to the Holy Land for 2 weeks. They also spend almost 2 weeks each year on a Grace Brethren International Missions location. Several times during the year, the group also experiences weekend visits to churches, a trip to Canada, Washington DC, and a week-long metropolitan tour of Philadelphia and New York City.
Anyone interested in the 412 Commission for next year, can call 440-368-5700 or visit www.412Commission.org.

Reaching The World Through Giving
Ed Lewis was traveling in California recently and came back with the following idea from The Flipside Church in Glendora, California. They take their offerings in globes of the world that have been cut in half. When people place their tithes/offerings in these "bowls", it reminds them that their money impacts people through the Gospel all over the world.
If you have thoughts or ideas to share as resources for others on how to promote biblical giving or stewardship, send an email to andywirt@sbcglobal.net |

TK Starts a Blog |
There are a number of things I have never done before in my life--all 44 years of them.... Like hunting, sky diving, or bunge jumping for that matter. Not that I am afraid to, I just haven't gotten around to doing them. Other things are a little more cost prohibitive--like seeing a Manchester United game at Old Trafford in England or taking the whole family to Hawaii. Read more...
