Preparing for Momentum 2007 |

The opening session of Momentum 2007 won't happen until Saturday, but already the University of Southern Mississippi campus is buzzing with conference staff preparing. Go to www.buildmomentum.org to see reports and pictures. A warm southern-welcome greeted the first wave of CE National staff arriving on Tuesday. Meetings with campus personnel started on Wednesday making final room assignments and other arrangements. Conference phones, computers, and other equipment were being setup while conference staff continued to arrive Thursday. More staff will come on Friday with early registration beginning Friday night. |
Students from Christ Covenant Church in Warsaw, Indiana helped unload the Momentum truck Thursday night. The students were in Gulfport during the week helping with Katrina cleanup. They'll be attending Momentum next week. |

Gulfcoast project managers have begun arriving. This group from Community Grace Brethren Church in Everett, Pennsylvania, stopped by the Momentum office before going on to the gulf coast. |
Convoy of Hope Delivers Food |
Convoy of Hope Groceries Ready for Distribution |
Convoy of Hope has delivered the approximately 5,000 bags of groceries that students will distribute on Monday. The non-perishable food items are bagged and ready to go. |
Houses are Being Prepared for Students |
Ed Lewis, Executive Director of CE National, Ed Lewis, Mike Stern and Dan O'Deens, toured some of the job sites where students will work. Construction will begin on Sunday and end on Thursday. See more pictures... |

2007-2008 412 Commission--the Final Year |
Applications are still being accepted for the few remaining positions on the 412 Commission starting this fall. The 412 Commission orientation will run from August 15-24 at the CE National headquarters in Winona Lake, Indiana. Mike and Connie Pumphrey, 2007 Operation Barnabas leaders, will be site coordinators. This will be the final year for the 412 Commission. |
