CE National Celebrations--Good Food and Good Fellowship |
Two CE National Celebrations are scheduled for the month of September. On Sunday evening, September 16, the Calvary Grace Brethren Church in Hagerstown, Maryland,will host the Mid Atlantic District Celebration at 6:00 p.m. The following evening, September 17, the Northern Atlantic Fellowship Celebration Banquet will be at the Good’n’Plenty Restaurant in Smoketown, Pennsylvania, beginning at 6:30 pm. Recently the Hispanic Association of Community Development conducted surveys in the Kensington area of Philadelphia, where the Urban Hope Training Center is located. Below is part of en email from William Gonzalez, who conducted the surveys.

Senior Medal of Ministry Award |
Steve and Marilyn Jenkins have been awarded the Senior Medal of Ministry Award for faithfully serving the local church by providing refreshments, office work, hospitality, and leading a small group. This year they headed up the snowmobile ministry and ministered to the area teens at an all-nighter.
Steve and Marilyn serve in the Grace Brethren Church in Island Pond, Vermont.
The Senior Medal of Ministry award is graciously sponsored by Grace Village.

New Fireside Dialogues to be Recorded |
Six Fireside Dialogues have already been released. Topics of the dialogues range from Interpreting Scripture to the Emergent Church. Three more have been scheduled so far. They are:
Todd Scoles, Senior Pastor at Marysville Grace Brethren Church in Marysville, Ohio, will be speaking on Grace Brethren History at 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 25.
Jason Haymaker, Senior Pastor of Western Reserve Grace Brethren Church in Macedonia, Ohio, will be speaking on developing a missional church on Sept. 27 (Check back for the time).
David Plaster, Senior Pastor of Grace Brethren Church of Columbus, Ohio, will be speaking on Triune Immersion on Nov. 7 (Check back for the time).
