Halftime Event April 27-29

Have you discovered your spiritual passions? Join CE National April 27-29, in Goshen, Indiana, for a special middle adult weekend getaway focused on discovering the passions God has for us and seeing how those passions give significance to our lives.
Special guests
Dan and Holly Allan and Jim Brown will encourage attendees to build friendships and take time out of their busy schedules to think what God may have created them to be passionate about.
Throughout the week, enjoy
small group interaction and leave with a written purpose statement for your life as well as ideas for your future plans and spiritual passions.
This HalfTime event is an experience-based weekend designed to encourage adults to refocus and refresh. It will include times of training, equipping, discussion, refreshment, motivation, and fun.
Friday afternoon and evening will feature spiritual challenges, a panel discussion, small group interaction, music led by Terry and Sharon White, a meal with other people from the Goshen Grace Community Church, and the
testimony of Holly Allan as a cancer survivor. During the evening session,
Tammy Robinson and Cathy Boyd will provide special music.
Dan Allan, Saturday, will include a Bible challenge by Jim Brown, pastor of Grace Community Church, and seminars on topics like Caring for Aging Parents, Being Effective Grandparents, Multiplying Our Influence (Mentoring), Parenting Wayward Children, Being Good Stewards of God's Gifts, Finding One's Passion, and Overcoming Boredom in Life. We will also hear testimonies from people who have found their calling/passions for their lives and are now "double-tracking" their lives so they can do what God wants of them.
After lunch the group will learn how to
effectively build relationships with non-churched in an attempt to reach out to them. The entire group will then have the opportunity to do various projects in the afternoon and share God’s love with people in the Goshen area. To top off the day there will be free time and then a great dinner at the Blue Gate Theatre in Shipshewana, Indiana, where
Dr. Ric Lovelady will be doing music. Ric is well-known for his lively and entertaining banjo music.
The special weekend will conclude on Sunday with a service at Grace Community Church and hearing more of what God is doing with those who have found their spiritual passions in life.
This HalfTime event is planned by a group of people who are passionate about helping believers feel fulfilled and effective in their lives.
